Our Basic Spill Kit Training Course is designed for teams who may be the first to respond to spills in the workplace. This 50-minute, instructor-led session provides practical, no-nonsense training that helps attendees understand the correct use of spill kits, develop an effective spill response plan, and reduce environmental and safety risks.
Delivered by experienced professionals, the course is ideal for anyone working in environments where liquids, chemicals, or other potentially hazardous substances are stored, handled, or transported. It’s a quick yet comprehensive training solution to improve your team’s confidence and competence in managing spills.
With a maximum of 12 delegates per session, your team gets the attention they need while benefiting from group-based discussion and dry demonstration.
What to expect:
The course can be delivered either at our training facility in Rotherham or at your own premises, provided there is a suitable space available for training and demonstration. The session includes a dry, interactive demonstration using spill products that are relevant to your site, helping your team get familiar with the very equipment they’ll be expected to use.
A strong focus is placed on preparation, prevention, and the safe deployment of absorbent materials in a way that’s easy to understand and remember.
