Take your fire safety training one step further with our Fire Safety Awareness Training Course – including a Practical Demonstration. This enhanced in-person course offers everything included in our standard awareness session, but with the added benefit of hands-on fire extinguisher training.
Led by a professional, qualified course leader, this session not only improves your team’s understanding of fire safety principles but also gives them the chance to operate a fire extinguisher themselves – an incredibly valuable experience in preparing for real-life emergency situations.
This course is ideal for workplaces that want to boost both fire awareness and practical response readiness, while meeting their Health & Safety obligations.
What to expect:
Delivered directly at your premises (within a 100-mile radius of DN15), the course runs for 2.5 hours and allows up to 12 delegates to take part. It begins with essential fire safety theory, covering how fires start, how they spread, and the legal responsibilities of employers and employees.
The second half of the course focuses on fire extinguisher types, safe operation using the PASS technique, and concludes with a live practical demonstration, giving each delegate the opportunity to handle an extinguisher in a safe, controlled environment.
A Certificate of Attendance is issued to each participant upon successful completion.
